Search Letter / Encumbrance Requests
The Titles and Offshore Division accepts requests for petroleum and natural gas title Search Letters and copies of registered encumbrances via facsimile at 250-952-0331.
To access an automated form letter for requesting Search Letters, please click on the following Word Document and complete it by clicking your mouse on the shaded areas and ¨'s you wish to fill in, print it, then fax it to the number above.
- Search letters are $7.50 per title

- Copies of encumbrances are $0.75 per page or $10, whichever is greater.
(e.g.: 1-13 pages is $10, more than 13 pages is calculated at $0.75 per page) |
Please specify how you would like your search letters / encumbrances sent to you:
- faxed (please include your fax number) to a maximum of 50 pages
(requests that result in a package in excess of 50 pages will be sent by collect courier); or, |
- collect courier (please specify courier and account number); or,
