SUBJECT:      2007/2008 PETROLEUM AND NATURAL GAS RIGHTS DISPOSITION DATES

Notice is given that competition for the right to explore and develop Crown petroleum and natural gas resources in British Columbia will be held on the dates shown below.  This notice supersedes Information Letter TITLES-06-02, dated February 8, 2006.

Anyone requesting that rights be offered for competition may submit their request through Petroleum Titles Online at: http://www.ptonline.gov.bc.ca/ or provide a written description of the request and a map showing the area involved, by facsimile or mail, to the contact noted below. All requests should include telephone and facsimile numbers, so receipt of the request can be acknowledged or particulars can be discussed. Postings will be received up to and including the respective closing dates. Late submissions cannot be accepted.

Requests to withdraw, postpone, or amend postings will not be considered after the withdrawal deadline.  Amendments can involve changes to the tenure type, the requested rights, or the configuration of the requested lands.  The reconfiguration of parcels must not result in new lands being added that were not part of the original request(s).
