SUBJECT: PRE-AUTHORIZED DEBITS (PAD) FOR PETROLEUM AND NATURAL GAS RIGHTS DISPOSITIONS
For the past several months, the Titles Division has been developing and testing a pre-authorized debit (PAD) process, as an option for payment of bids at petroleum and natural gas rights dispositions.
As our PAD process is now fully tested and operational, we would like to offer this method for payment of bids at petroleum and natural gas rights dispositions. At a future date, we may require all bidders to use the PAD option, but at this time, participation in this process remains optional.
To initiate this option, please complete the attached authorization forms and return them to the address below. Once your application has been reviewed, you will be assigned a unique PAD code which will enable you to submit PAD bids. The contact name you specify on the forms will receive notification of your PAD code, via Email or via fax, according to your request.
If there is a failure in the PAD payment process, participants will be notified as soon as possible and asked to courier payment via bank draft, certified cheque or company cheque. No bid will be rejected due to failure in the PAD process.
