NTS 93E - Whitesail Lake / RGS 16 /

GSC OF 1360

The Whitesail Lake (NTS 93E) reconnaissance-scale stream sediment and water survey was completed in 1986 and the resulting field and analytical data were released in 1987. A total of 951 stream sediment and 933 water samples were collected from 898 sample sites. The survey also included the collection of lake sediment and water samples from 214 sites.

Stream sediment analyses, from several regional geochemical surveys(093D,C,E), carried out by the BC Geological Survey in the Bella Coola area have been compiled into Geofile 2006-10 for convenience and to accompany recent geological map product releases from the Geological Survey of Canada and the BC Geological Survey.
