The McBride (NTS 93H) reconnaissance-scale stream sediment and water survey was completed in 1984 and 1985 and the resulting field and analytical data were released in 1986. A total of 1185 sediment and 1159 water samples were collected from 1119 sample sites. |

The 1984 survey was undertaken by the British Columbia Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources (MEMPR) and the Geological Survey of Canada (GSC). The 1985 survey was funded by the Canada-British Columbia Mineral Development Agreement.
E.H.W. Hornbrook and P.W.B. Friske directed and coordinated GSC activities (1984/85). W.M. Johnson directed the MEMPR activities (1984/85). Contracts were let to the following companies for sample collection, preparation and analysis and were managed by staff of the GSC and MEMPR.
