NTS 82J - Kananaskis Lake / RGS 28

The Kananaskis Lakes (NTS 82J) reconnaissance-scale stream sediment and water survey was completed in 1990 and the resulting field and analytical data were released in 1991. A total of 623 sediment and 499 water samples were collected from 588 sample sites.

The 1990 survey was conducted by the British Columbia Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources (MEMPR) and was funded in part by the Sustainable Environment Fund (SEF) of the British Columbia Ministry of the Environment and the Canada/British Columbia Mineral Development Agreement (MDA) (1985-1990).

P.F. Matysek and W. Jackaman coordinated and operational activities of contract and MEMPR staff. Contracts were let to the following companies for sample collection, preparation and analysis.
