The Cry Lake (NTS 104I) reconnaissance-scale stream sediment and water survey was completed in 1995 and the resulting field and analytical data were released in 1996. A total of 1228 sediment and 1213 water samples were collected from 1159 sample sites.
Geoscience BC Report 2011-2 reports on the Northern BC Reanalysis Project -a continuation of a series of large-scale reanalysis initiatives that have been sponsored by Geoscience BC since 2007. Recognized as a cost-effective means of updating information collected during older government funded regional geochemical surveys, these programs have significantly improved the BC geochemical database by providing a wide range of new analytical information at improved detection levels plus greater data compatibility with analytical methods currently being employed. Digital data file includes new ICP-MS analytical results for a total of 7,651 stream and lake sediment samples.
Geoscience BC Report 2012-2 presents the results of the QUEST-Northwest Block 1 airborne magnetic survey, located between the communities of Dease Lake and Iskut. This dataset was collected by Aeroquest Airborne over the summer and fall of 2011. The survey was flown with a line spacing of 250 m., and the total survey coverage is 27,012 line-km.
Geoscience BC Report 2012-7 reports on new infill stream based geochemical surveys plus the reanalysis of over 2400 sample pulps from government funded surveys that were originally completed in NTS map sheets 104F, G and K during the mid-1980s. Geoscience BC Report 2012-07 includes results of the 2011 infill sampling programs. Data generated by the reanalysis work was released in April 2012 (GBC Reports 2011-05 and 2011-06).
