Note: Some of the reports have large file sizes due to colour images, large maps or colour maps. These have been reduced by removing colour map details and inserting a smaller image (downsample). The large images have not been posted to this website; they are available on request or on CD. The tables show number of pages and size of all reports. Please consider the report size before downloading.
The assessment report database consists of over 30,000 mineral assessment reports. The technical information contained in these reports is a valuable reference and research tool for mineral exploration, academic studies and resource management/land use studies or conducting geoscience research. As of July 2007 all of the mineral assessment reports have been scanned and posted to the website.
Any comments/suggestions are welcome and should be directed to Allan Wilcox of the Assessment Report Unit.
